Jana Caracciolo and Samantha Mikolajczyk have joined the National Agricultural Legislation Centre as personnel attorneys.

To even further its mission and far better serve stakeholders, the National Agricultural Legislation Middle has hired two new team attorneys, Jana Caracciolo and Samantha Mikolajczyk, the two with backgrounds in agriculture.

Developing up on a tiny honey tangerine farm in Florida spurred Caracciolo’s interest in the food process. In 2018, she graduated magna cum laude from the College of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in food stuff and useful resource economics. In advance of attending university, Caracciolo served as a condition officer for the Florida FFA Affiliation.

Although attending the College of Florida Levin School of Legislation, Caracciolo interned for the Harvard Meals Legislation and Plan Clinic, as very well as the Advertising and marketing, Regulatory, and Foodstuff Safety Applications Division of the United States Department of Agriculture’s Office environment of the Typical Counsel. Caracciolo will principally focus her research on foods labeling and foodstuff protection-similar challenges.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in university scientific tests – leadership from Texas A&M University in 2017. Just after acquiring her undergraduate degree, Mikolajczyk attended Texas A&M College Faculty of Law. She worked as a policy intern for Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and as a exploration fellow with the Vermont Law School’s Center for Agriculture and Meals Programs.

For the duration of her next yr of law school, Mikolajczyk started performing at the Nationwide Agricultural Law Heart as a research fellow, where by she targeted on finance and credit rating troubles, as properly as other assignments.
