A few location elementary school learners ended up winners in the Nebraska Section of Agriculture’s National Ag 7 days poster contest.
Extra than 1,700 pupils in grades 1-6 from all about the point out entered NDA’s once-a-year contest by highlighting Nebraska agriculture, the state’s variety one particular marketplace.
The posters, depicting this year’s theme of “Nebraska Agriculture: Straight from the Great Daily life,” have been judged in 3 different classes: 1st and second quality 3rd and fourth quality and fifth and sixth quality. The poster contest is in its 18th calendar year.
In the 3rd and fourth quality division:
Initial spot: Emerson Yantzia, fourth quality, Ord Elementary University
Next put: Baylee Clark, fourth grade, North Park Elementary Faculty in Broken Bow
In the fifth and sixth grade division:
Third spot: Eliseo Lucas, fifth quality, Knickrehm Elementary Faculty in Grand Island
“There are quite a few talented students in Nebraska who discovered about agriculture and how significant the ag field is to our point out via this contest,” explained NDA Director Steve Wellman. “The posters we received this 12 months had been fantastic.
