Hensley learned how to cook from her mother, Josephine Moore, in whose honor her cafe is named. Right after Hensley’s mom handed away, she resolved to open the cafe to go on her legacy.

“I believed I would preserve her legacy going because she was a homebody and beloved good residence cooking that we had to sit all around the table and take in,” Hensley said.
