On March 8, Schooling Minister Stephen Lecce introduced a new science and technological innovation curriculum for Grades 1-8. A new destreamed Grade 9 science course is staying prepared. This usually means a new emphasis on STEM training, and foods, nutrition, and agriculture. Monthly bill 216, A Foods Literacy for Pupils Act, would ensure all Ontario learners from Grades 1-12 have possibilities to improve and get ready foodstuff, and study about nearby foodstuff. Advocates hope the monthly bill will move in April.
