Playhouse On Park’s 13th Main Stage Season Continues With THE AGITATORS By Mat Smart

THE AGITATORS: THE Tale OF SUSAN B. ANTHONY AND FREDERICK DOUGLASS, composed by Mat Intelligent, will run at Playhouse on Park from May perhaps 25 – June 12, 2022. This creation is portion of Playhouse on Park’s 13th Primary Stage Period, and it will be directed by Kelly O’Donnell.

The Agitators tells of the enduring but tempestuous friendship of Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass. Fantastic allies? Yes. And at moments, good adversaries. Youthful abolitionists when they achieved in Rochester in the 1840s, they have been complete of hopes, goals, and a frequent objective. As they grew to turn out to be the cultural icons we know today, their movements collided and their friendship was severely tested.
